A wrap dress that actually wraps - no fixed front, no press studs - with a tie long enough to go round twice. Elbow-length sleeves, a V neck, and a hem at mid-calf. Rust is piece-dyed and one of our two shades that fades noticeably, softening by about a tone over the first year.
Because it is a wrap, most people take one size down from the pinafore.
